Our suppliers plan their routes in accordance with the number of vehicles and drivers they have available. Unfortunately, there are some occasions where unexpected driver absence can impact this scheduling. Due to all drivers being limited to a legal number of driving hours they cannot always split these deliveries between the other drivers. Sometimes a supplier may have to regrettably delay the delivery and re-route the orders for another day.
If your order has been affected by an expected resource issue, please be assured your supplier will liaise with us so that we can keep you updated and advise you of your new delivery date, this date should be no more than 5 days of the original ‘on for before’ delivery date.
