Driver Ran Out Of Oil

The amount of oil onboard a tanker is calculated by the number of deliveries the driver has to make on a given day and how many litres each delivery requires. However, a driver can run out of fuel on board for several different reasons. For example, the driver might be called to make an emergency delivery, an accidental over-delivery may occur on a previous delivery, or an unforeseen circumstance such as an oil spill are all possibilities. Please be assured this is not something that happens very often, and we are very sorry if this issue has affected your delivery.

If your delivery is unsuccessful due to this issue your supplier will liaise with us so that we can keep you updated and advise you of your new delivery date, this date should be no more than 5 days of the original ‘on for before’ delivery date.

However, please be aware, some suppliers may cancel your order if they do not have capacity to go back out to deliver.
