When you live off the gas grid and use heating oil to keep your home warm, it can be tricky to lower your carbon footprint.
With our carbon offsetting scheme, reducing the carbon emissions created by your heating is simple. You can either offset the C02 of your individual orders or sign up to our Connected Green program where we’ll offset the annual emissions from your heating oil.
Our carbon offsetting scheme is a simple way to reduce your carbon footprint. All you need to do is select the ‘Green’ option when you place an order, or if you are signing up to our fully automatic solution, then select the Connected Green programme.
You are not only offsetting your carbon emissions, but you’re also helping areas across the world increase employment levels and provide sustainable development through regeneration, replanting and carbon capture.
Our new programme in Uruguay will not only have the benefit of offsetting your carbon emissions, but you’re also helping areas across the world increase employment levels and provide sustainable development through regeneration, replanting and carbon capture.
Carbon offsetting : Adding more oxygen into the environment to reduce or counteract the amount of CO2 emitted into the air created by an action.
We work with Forest Carbon, leaders in carbon capture both in the UK and overseas. All of their projects are certified as a Verified Carbon Standard project and their UK projects are Peatland/Woodland Carbon certified.
Our current offsetting scheme The international carbon offsetting scheme provides a simple way for our customers to reduce their carbon footprint whilst supplying regeneration, replanting and ongoing carbon capture in rural areas.
Calculate the amount of carbon dioxide that is emitted into the air from a process/action.
Calculate the right number of trees to counteract CO2 and emit oxygen back into the environment.
The next step is to plant the trees and watch them grow!
